FR. 13- SAT. 14 September 2024

Kardamyli’s OLD PRIMARY SCHOOL

The International Poetry Festival is a meeting point for poets, directors and music producers from all over the world. In recent years, similar festivals have been organized by the Institute of Experimental Arts, with the cooperation of local organizations in Europe, Asia and America, but also in cities in Greece and Cyprus.

The festival opens on Friday 13/9/2024 with screenings of films from 13 countries, a fantastic selection of video-poems, animations and experimental short films based on international collaborations of inspiring directors, poets and musicians.

On Saturday 14/9, the second day of the event, 18 poets from five different countries will share the stage presenting live poetry readings in Greek, English and French, in a magical meeting of spoken word and electronic music.

In the event space there will be a free contribution box to cover expenses, as well as a stall with products produced by the children of the Lysos Garden organization and a box for financial support of their actions.
