International FILM Poetry Festival- Sagres Portugal – SAT 16.8.2025

The International FILM Poetry Festival is organized by the Institute for Experimental Arts in collaboration with South West Youth Arts and Mandala Life & Yoga Center at the magical area of Sagres in South Portugal.

The festival presents 22 short films from 17 countries, based on collaborations of film directors with poets and musicians- a world of poetic visions for the benefit of humanity.

Poetry, cinema, music and spoken word come together to communicate the inspiration, dreams, ideas and hopes of all of us. The night will include also five LIVE multi media spoken word performances from Portugal, Greece, England and Lebanon.

Program is organized in sessions of 15 minutes performances and half hour film shows.

This extraordinary event invites us to look at the world in new ways. We are searching for stories from parts of everyday life that remain hidden, unknown images of our societies, new ideas and inspiration.
