Electro Poetry is a Saturday afternoon event presenting live spoken word performances and visual arts, followed by organic house and melodic electronic dance music in the intimate setting of the Bank, in the beautiful village of Marmelette.
Words, music, visuals, and dance unfold through their own mediums—yet with poetry still resonating in the listener’s mind, these artistic forms overlap in an unforced and natural way.
Electro Poetry is part of a series of events taking place in the Algarve throughout July and August 2025, organized through the collaboration between the international organization The Institute for Experimental Arts and South West Youth Arts. The series includes the International Poetry Festival, which will take place on August 9th, 2025, at Algarve.
