The Institute for Experimental Arts was founded in 2008 in Athens- Greece as a non-profit platform of creative expression and research in the fields of theater, performance art, digital media, installation, poetry and art theory. The Institute is committed to existing as an open meeting point for poets-writers, directors, actors, theater engineers/ technicians, performance artists, photographers, video artists and the writers who develop new analytical tools on contemporary art, media & communication.

The Total Freedom World Tour organized by Void Network on October 2008 in the National Autonomous University of Mexico, in Puebla and in the Zapatistas Communities with Poetry Performances, Music, Workshops and Leectures.
The yearly International Video Poetry Festival established in 2011 in Athens by the Institute for Experimental Arts. The Festival is one of 5 biggest videopoetry festivals throughout the world.

GREECE Larissa Open Nights Festival

Tasos Sagris and Sissy Doutsiou for the Institute for Experimental Arts traveled and participated in the Book tour We are an image from the Future published by AK Press (publication in USA). The two founding members of the IfEA (Institute for Experimental Arts) talked to 30 states of USA presenting the Book We are an image from the Future and also participated to the New York Film Festival with their Poetry Performances and Video Art.
